The Northern Pathways Initiative is a program led by YES Employment Services in Thunder Bay (YES Thunder Bay) and funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.

As part of this initiative, First Work has partnered with YES Thunder Bay to deliver free, interactive training sessions for employers and businesses in Thunder Bay and Kenora, with the support of Trades Associations across the Northern Region.

Supporting Inclusive Hiring and Employee Retention

This interactive Webinar is designed to support employers in Trades in Thunder Bay and Kenora, Ontario as they navigate challenges related to:

• Employee onboarding
• Employee retention
• Creating more inclusive and supportive workplaces

The webinar will also provide an opportunity for employers to pick up ready to use tools, share their own hiring experiences, challenges, and insights and learn from others in the Trades sector.
