In fast-paced, people-centred work environments, self-care is often the first thing to fall off the list even though it’s essential for sustaining our energy, focus, and impact. This training is a highly interactive, practical workshop designed to help participants move beyond theory and into action.
Through guided mindfulness, breathing techniques, chair yoga practice, and facilitated discussion, participants will explore realistic ways to embed wellness into their everyday work routines. This session emphasizes small, sustainable practices that can be used individually, with teams, and where appropriate, adapted for client-facing settings. Participants will leave with practical tools they can apply immediately, increased awareness of how stress shows up during the workday, and a simple, personalized wellness plan that supports resilience, balance, and long-term well-being at work.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Apply simple mindfulness practices to improve focus, presence, and emotional regulation during the workday
- Use practical breathing techniques to manage stress, transitions, and high-pressure moments at work
- Participate in and adapt a gentle chair-based movement routine
- Identify small, realistic wellness habits that can be integrated into daily work routines
- Develop a personal or team wellness plan
* Please note this session will not be recorded. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion following their active participation.
