Amplify is Ontario's premier gathering of those challenging, disrupting, driving and shaping workforce development across the province.
Canada’s workforce is not a line item. It is the return.
The strength of Canada’s workforce begins in communities. Employment services leaders are the multipliers behind every dollar invested in growth and the architects of economic inclusion, building the resilience needed to navigate uncertain times.
Canada’s competitiveness, security, and economic sovereignty depend on how effectively we mobilize human capital at home. True sustainability is not only about natural resources — it is about the strength of our social infrastructure.
Canadian prosperity runs on a network of workforce systems, skill builders, and community institutions that turn policy into participation. But we must ask: Is our social infrastructure strong enough to fulfill the promise of Canada?
Prosperity that isn’t built for everyone isn’t built to last. Every person connected to meaningful employment strengthens our economy. Every barrier left unaddressed is a leak in our national productivity.
Amplify 2026 brings together leaders of Canada’s social infrastructure — the community institutions that sustain us and the policymakers willing to rethink the systems they oversee. Together, we ensure Canada’s growth is not only fast, but sustainable.
Join us on April 22nd for Amplify 2026, First Work's annual leadership conference, where the sector redefines leadership. A day of inspiring and thought-provoking conversation which attracts government, industry and sector leaders, professionals, educators, funders and researchers. Together, we will explore new challenges and opportunities to advance workforce development in Ontario.
