Join us—Friday, January 29, 2021—for an afternoon of learning, networking and career exploration with Landscape Ontario.  

Aspire is a career exploration initiative from First Work, designed to connect barriered young people to careers and industries they would otherwise never experience. In doing so, young people broaden their career aspirations based on enhanced knowledge of potential opportunities. 

Youth (ages 15-30) will have the opportunity to engage and network with Landscape Ontario (LO) to learn about the various opportunities within the growing landscaping and horticulture sector.  

Attendees will engage with industry professionals as well as successful graduates from LO’s training programs in speed mentoring networking.  

Participants will also learn about LO’s GROW program. This new program produces new green infrastructure workers for Ontario’s landscaping and horticulture sector. It includes 4 weeks of technical and pre- and post-employment soft skills training followed by a paid work placement! 

This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about this growing industry!
