As a result of the recent announcement from Ontario’s Chief Medical Health Officer regarding COVID-19, First Work is postponing the Amplify Conference – originally scheduled to take place April 6 as well as First Work’s Queens Park day – originally scheduled to take place on April 7 in Toronto – to a later date. Our first priority is to ensure the health and safety of those individuals attending as many will be travelling across Ontario to attend both these events as well as those that they will come into contact with .
Please note that we are currently working with our venue, speakers and vendor partners to reschedule all components of the Amplify Conference in a seamless manner, and will notify delegates with any details of a future date and programming as soon as they are confirmed. Any fees from current registrations will be applied as a credit towards the new Amplify date once it is confirmed.
Thank you for your patience; should you have any questions, please reach out to us directly, at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Amplify is Ontario's premier gathering of those challenging, disrupting, driving and shaping workforce development across the Province.
This full day of inspiring and thought-provoking conversation attracts hundreds of government, industry and sector leaders, professionals, educators, funders and researchers. Together, we will explore new challenges and opportunities to advance workforce development in Ontario.
Queen's Park Day - Tuesday, April 7th, 2020*
First Work Members have indicated an interest in bringing members together to advocate on behalf of the organization and the sector, with the Ontario government, Members of Provincial Parliament and other government officials at Queen’s Park. As we undergo this transformation, the importance of a unified voice is critical to ensure that the sector’s service needs are met.
*** Maximum of two delegates from each organization are allowed to register for Queen's Park Day per region.
