Project Integrate: Employer Consultations

In a project aimed at improving career pathways for marginalized and vulnerable youth, a coalition of partners that includes First Work, OTEC, MaRS Data Catalyst Centre and the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity, began working with Canada’s Future Skills Centre – Centre des Compétences futures (FSC-CCF) to test an innovative, evidence-based, approach to skills development for the new economy. The initiative, known as Project Integrate, is testing the potential impact and feasibility of a single technology-enabled employment and training pathway for youth.
This engagement process will address one of Project Integrate’s Objectives - To conduct employment and training ecosystem analysis and identify features that support and/or inhibit system innovation. The consultation will be an opportunity to inform the ecosystem about Project Integrate and collect data on the tools and assessments currently being used and their value-add.  This consultation process is part of a larger process which will incorporate voices from the employment and training ecosystem, employers, youth as well as leading national bodies.

We would be grateful for the valued input of Employers, which will further support the work we are doing to remove barriers for youth entering the workforce.

We are currently hosting two potential session, taking place December 3rd – session 1 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) or  session 2 (1:00 – 3:00pm). We look forward to hearing from you regarding your interest and availability to participate!
